Offices of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Celebrate Eid Al-Ghadeer in Karbala and Damascus

The Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala celebrated the glorious Eid Al-Ghadeer on 18^th of Dhul Hijjah 1440 AH. This celebration was attended by religious scholars, clerics and cultural activists. Eulogies in honor of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) was the main program at this celebration. The Grand Jurist’s Office in holy Karbala also hosted teenagers from Nasereya City of Iraq. Sayed Mahdi Shirazi welcomed these teenagers and talked to them about the Islamic ethics.

On Tuesday, 18^th of Dhul Hijjah 1440 AH, the Zainabiya Islamic Seminary, dependent to Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Damascus also celebrated the occasion of Eid Al-Ghadeer in this City. Groups of religious scholars and Shia believers from inside and outside Syria, as well as followers of other faiths participated in this celebration. Sheikh Najah al-Nuwaini was the key speaker of the ceremony.

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
