Al-Furat Center Holds Conference in Holy Karbala

Al-Furat Center for Strategic Studies hosted a conference in holy Karbala, to discuss Iraq’s government and its responsibilities for its nation. This conference was held at Annaba Foundation, hosting groups of academics, legal experts and researchers. Dr. Hussein Sarhan, a researcher at Al-Furat Center highlighted the emergence of a social contract between governments and people since the 18^th century. The purpose of this contract between people and their government is to allow for the rule of law to dominate all arbitrary decision-makings.
