Like the previous years, the banner of mourning Imam Hussein’s martyrdom was raised in Beirut, Lebanon, coinciding with Muharram 2020. Believers and lovers of AhlulBayt (peace be upon them) come together each year at this ceremony, to prepare for the upcoming commemorations of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). Sheikh Jalal Maash, the representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi was also present in this event, during which he delivered a lecture on the significance of the commemorations of the Master of Martyrs.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
