Delegation from Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Meet Dignitaries in Iraq

Delegation from the Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Najaf met with a group of distinguished figures, such as security officials, chiefs of tribes, and activists during their visit to Diwaniya province of Iraq. This delegation, including Sheikh Salah Al-Halfi and Sheikh Maisum Al-Akaeshi, met with some commanders of the Popular Mobilization Forces. In this visit, the delegation honored the sacrifices of these forces and donated some wheelchairs to the wounded veterans. Colonel Sabah Al-Hasnawi, a police chief in Diwaniya City, as well as members of the local tribes hosted this delegation. At the end, the members of the Grand Jurist’s Office visited the shrine of one of the descendants of Hazrat Abbas (blessings of God be upon him) and met with former member of Diwaniya Council, Sayed Shaker Almehna and the family of martyr, Anwar Alfatimi.
