Nonviolence Incorporation Publishes Message on World Science Day for Peace and Development

Nonviolence Incorporation, affiliated to Imam Shirazi World Foundation published a statement on World Science Day for Peace and Development. Parts of this statement read as follows:

Celebrated every 10 November, World Science Day for Peace and Development highlights the significant role of science in society and the need to use science as a means to stabilize peace and security in our societies.

In the past ten months, the Covid-19 pandemic has proved the inability of the international organizations to curb the damages of this pandemic on our societies. In the light of this event, the need to start debates on implementing science as a means to realize peace and development has become more relevant than ever. Hence, Nonviolence Incorporation joins the tireless efforts to achieve world peace and fair distribution of wealth in order to resolve the problems that some nations face. The international community has now realized that technology, in many cases, has left serious damages on human societies. Therefore, we believe there is urgent need to use this platform to spread peace and development around the world.
